Central Coast Women's Tennis League (CCWTL) was established in 1977 by tennis pro, Bill Brown and has grown to encompass 5 divisions, 28 teams in 10 locations and more than 300 women competitors. The purpose of CCWTL is to give women tennis enthusiasts of all skill levels the opportunity to play competitive doubles. Extending from Paso Robles to Santa Maria, matches are played from August through May and each team generally plays two matches per month. CCWTL hosts an annual awards luncheon in June that often includes a fundraiser for a worthy local charity.
The Santa Maria Country Club has teams participating in the league in the A, A-, B+ and B divisions. For more information about the league, including rosters, schedules, scores and stats, please go to www.ccwtl.org.
